HoserVille Ohio and Fremont Speedway have teamed-up to help injured driver Danny Smith. This Saturday, during the Ohio Sprint Speedweek Finale at Fremont Speedway, HoserVille Ohio will be hosting a silent auction with all money raised going directly to Danny Smith. “Silent auctions haven’t done the greatest for us in the past. This one is for Danny tho and we have some excellent items, so I think we can make this one work and help Danny out with some of his expenses” stated HoserVille Ohio President Duane Hancock. The auction will start art 3 PM under the main grandstands with final bid being cut off at 6:15 PM. Cash, checks, Visa, and MasterCard will be accepted. HoserVille Ohio is a registered non-profit group for tax purposes. This will be a small but solid auction. Items so far: autographed Byron Reed drivers suit, a Tony Stewart autographed face shot picture, 1/18th Gambler House Car die cast autographed by Danny Smith, #93 of the 504 produced, a 17X22 autographed Danny Smith poster in the Botkins 00 car are just some of the items collected to date. Please stop by and check out the items and help out Danny Smith. Danny had a terrible crash on opening night of Ohio Speedweek resulting in a broken back and surgery to repair his injury. Danny races for a living and will be out of action for quite a while, so all money raised he will greatly appreciate.
