Dalton Armstrong and Dillon Welch will settle the 2010 USAC Regional and USAC/WOMS Midget championships September 25 when the series returns to Berlin Raceway in Marne. Mich.
Armstrong has a 22-point lead over Welch in the Regional standings and a slim three-point lead over Welch in the WOMS points after last Thursday’s race at Berlin in which Welch finished second and Armstrong 12th.
Levi Roberts of Broomfield, Colo. led the final 15 laps to win Thursday’s 25-lap race at Berlin in his Majestic Metals/Steelock Fence Beast/Esslinger Ford. Roberts passed Mario Clouser on lap 11 and set sail, beating Welch to the checkered flag.
Clouser took third ahead of Grant Galloway and Chris Phillips.
