CARMARGO, Ill. (8-16-10)- This weekend will be very important to the
drivers chasing the 2010 O’Reilly Auto Parts Midwest All Star Series
championship. Friday, Aug. 20 finds the series at the historical
Bloomington Speedway in Bloomington, Indiana, followed by a Saturday, Aug.
21 event at Twin Cities Raceway Park.

Two-time Midwest All Star champion Jerrod Hull leads A.J. Bruns by a scant
five points after two events so far in 2010. Indiana native Kody Kinser and
rookie Adam Miller will look to make a move in the point standings as will
third place point man Jim Moughan. Also expected to bring the exciting
action of winged sprint car racing to the Hoosier State will be Cory Bruns,
Jeremy Standridge, Jim Davies and Robbie Standrige.

Indiana is known primarily as the capital of non-wing sprint car racing
with hundreds of teams located in the Hoosier State. With $2,000 to win on
the line and $200 to start the A-main, look for many of those teams to bolt
the wing on and battle the Midwest All Star drivers.

“Indiana is a key state to us as we continue to work to grow winged 410
sprint car racing in the region,” said Midwest All Star President Guy Webb.
“This purse structure offers many of the local racers an opportunity to
race for more money and gives the fans at these fine tracks a chance to
witness the speed and excitement our brand of racing has to offer.”
