The impressive start to the 2010/11 season for Danny Reidy continued last Saturday night when he scored yet another podium finish at Brisbane International Speedway in Queensland.
During the opening round of the Queensland Series Reidy performed strongly throughout the feature race and came home strongly to finish in third place on the podium.
“We came home pretty strong and in hindsight had we had another couple of laps I’m confident that we could have finished in second,” expressed Reidy who had started the feature race out of position four after he had earlier in the night qualified fifth in time trials and then placed third and sixth in his two heat races. “My car was solid during the feature race and I think that both my speed and confidence in lapped traffic turned out to be one of the keys to my end result.”
Reidy commented that switching back to the familiar Eagle brand of chassis is reaping its benefits in this early part of the season.
“I cannot speak highly enough of the Eagle chassis, as it suits my style of driving and I feel comfortable in it and my results so far this season are showing that,” he enthused. “We’ve made a great start to the season and the goal is to be able to maintain this form on a more consistent basis.”
Reidy will next be in action at Brisbane International Speedway (Brisbane, QLD) for the second round of the Queensland Series on Saturday night, October 2 where he is hoping to continue his run of podium results.
Reidy would like to thank Desert Palms Resort in Alice Springs, Baines Engines, Gonzo Racing Pipes, Camden Neon Signs and P&M Motor Body Repairs for all their support throughout the 2010/11 season.
