September 22, 2010 – Josh Fisher of Smithton, Missouri will pilot Harley Van Dyke’s #5H at the Lucas Oil ASCS National shows at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri this Saturday night, and at the “Rock ‘N Roll 50” scheduled for Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis on October 1 and 2. The car is wrenched by one of the best mechanics in open wheel racing, Rodney Tiner.
Josh wrapped up the 2010 title at the Lake Ozark Speedway, though the season finale still needs to be made up. He is looking forward to getting behind the wheel of the #5H on Saturday. “It’s really special to be able to drive for a legendary car owner like Harley,” says Josh. “Also, with Rodney Tiner turning the wrenches, you know you’re going to have a good car when you hit the track. I also have to give a special thanks to Impact Sign & Lighting of Sedalia. They are making the deal this weekend possible for me too.”
Josh has raced close to home for the most part this season, aboard the Ozark Barge & Dock Services #86. He picked up three wins at LOS on the way to locking up his second career title there (the first came in 2008). In 2009, he picked up the Winged Outlaw Warriors championship, and in 2007, he was the WOW and National Sprint Car Hall of Fame 360 Rookie of the Year.
