From Blake Lirette
After running up and down the road the last two years with the ASCS National tour Darren Long is choosing to stay a little closer to home and hopefully get to race a lot more. With the green and white family owned number 7 returning the team is focusing on All-Star and 410 racing while not forgetting that Limaland is just down the road with 360’s running.
With the team from last year still together just in different capacities the Darren Long Racing Entry will compete for the Ohio Region Rookie-Of-The-Year as well as competing at various 410 events through the Mid-West. Even with embarking on a new chapter in his career the page will not be completely turned as he will still compete with a 360 plugged into his new KPC chassis from time to time as the schedule and Mother Nature allow.
Darren Long Racing would like to thank it’s 2011 partners, Long Farms, Gaerte Engines, Thompson Construction, ML Tech Services, Neiderts Mowers, Instant Exteriors, XYZ Machining, Sander Engineering, KSE, ButlerBuilt, Engler Machine, and Simpson.
