Inside Line Promotions – LA MONTE, Mo. (April 11) – Saturday was a challenging day for Arnold Motorsports.
With high hopes and the excitement elevated, the sprint car sister duo of Haley and Miranda Arnold competed at their home track of L A Raceway in La Monte, Mo., for the ASCS Warrior Region season opener.
Unfortunately, the Sedalia, Mo., residents struggled on the slick 3/8th-mile oval and both fell short of advancing to the feature.
“We had a pretty rough night and this is just one of those races we’re brushing off our shoulders,” Haley said. “We’re really looking forward to the next event.”
Miranda finished fifth in her heat race and Haley ended up seventh, which forced both into a B Main. Neither could find much more grip on the track in the B Main, which ended with Miranda sixth and Haley ninth.
“It was pretty much an off night and nothing was going our way,” Miranda said. “I really struggle with slick tracks. I was trying too hard and overdriving the car.”
Haley and Miranda plan on following the ASCS Warrior Region for points. The next race is May 6 at Tri-City Speedway in Pontoon Beach, Ill. – a race that will also be an ASCS National Tour event and will be taped for a delayed broadcast on VERSUS.

WORLD MOTOR SPORTS BREAST CANCER FOUNDATION –
The Arnolds are partnering with the World Motor Sports Breast Cancer Foundation this year. They will be selling the foundation’s shirts in an assortment of sizes for $20 and all of the proceeds go directly to the World Motor Sports Breast Cancer Foundation.
