From IRA
Apparently Mother Nature is not as anxious as the racers and fans of the Bumper to Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprint Series to get the 2011 season underway. Due to an absolutely frustrating weather forecast for the weekend which includes cold, rain, and wind, the entire 3-days (April 15-17) at the Dodge County Fairgrounds Speedway have been cancelled. The traditional opening weekend was to include a Friday practice, the IRA 410 & MSA 360 SPRINTACULAR on Saturday, and WDLMA Late Models with Mods & Grand Nationals Sunday.
We’ll try it again next week at the ultrafast Dodge County half-mile with a open practice Friday, followed by the annual Rick Schmidt Memorial April 23rd featuring the Bumper to Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprints, MSA 360 Sprints, and Wisconsin Dirt Legends.
IRA is sponsored by Bumper to Bumper Auto Parts & Service Centers with associate series support coming from Osborn & Son Trucking, TW Metals, Goodyear, Onan, DNA Energy Drinks & Snacks, Carriage Auto Body, MPT Industries, UltraLube, Big Game Treestands, and Polaris Defense.
