Hartford, OH — (May 13, 2011) — The un-relentless spring rains just won’t go away. After a sunny start to the day on Friday, thunderstorms developed late in the afternoon and pounded Sharon Speedway once again forcing the postponement of “Friday Night Thunder” to next Friday, May 20. Action still is on schedule for Saturday night’s (May 14) “Steel Valley Thunder” program featuring the Governor Insurance Agency Big-Block Modifieds, Barris Supply FASTRAK Late Models, Ainsley 500 Heating & Cooling E-Mods, Gibson Insurance Agency Stock Cars, and the Presidential Lawn Care Mini Stocks. Race time is 7 p.m.
Next Friday, May 20 will feature the Ti22 Performance Outlaw Sprint Warriors, Summit Racing Equipment Econo Mods, Joe’s Radiator/Uni-Tech Frame Straightening Mod Lites, Micro Sprints, Uni-Tech Frame Straightening/Joe’s Radiator Sportsman Dwarf Cars, and the Mini Late Models along with make-up features for Sprints, Micro Sprints, and Sportsman Dwarf Cars. Race time is 7:30 p.m.
