SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Selinsgrove Speedway will present a four division racing
program featuring 358 sprint cars, late models, pro stocks, and roadrunners
at 7 p.m. this Saturday, May 21, sponsored by Paul Stine Chevrolet of
Selinsgrove. Track gates will open at 5 p.m.
The A&A Auto Stores 358 sprint cars will compete in a 25-lap feature paying
$1,500 to win. Entering this weekend’s racing action, two-time winner Blane
Heimbach of Selinsgrove holds a 180-point lead over Larry Kelleher of
Scranton in the standings.
In the Jeff’s Auto Body & Recycling Center late model division, Jim Yoder
of Selinsgrove has a 60-point advantage over two-winner Jeff Rine of
Danville and one-time winner Tony Adams of Sunbury. Rine and Adams, who are
currently tied for second, will attempt to take over the top spot from
Yoder with solid finishes in this Saturday’s 25-lap feature paying $1,200
to win.
AJ Hoffman of Richfield scored his third win of the season in last
weekend’s pro stock division and stretched his lead to 240 points over Kyle
Bachman of Selinsgrove in the Salem RV Center/Byers Built Engines
standings.
Two-time winner Bob Bussey of Northumberland leads the Collier Paving &
Construction roadrunner standings by 90 points over two-time winner and
defending champion Ricky Bender of Joliett.
The pro stocks and roadrunners will race in 15-lap and 12-lap main events,
respectively.

Over the upcoming Memorial Day holiday weekend, Selinsgrove Speedway will
be in action with two complete racing programs. On Saturday, May 28,
Sunbury Eagles Club No. 503 will be the title sponsor of a four division
program of 358 sprint cars, late models, pro stocks, and roadrunners. The
next night, Sunday, May 29, Icon Legacy Custom Modular Homes will be the
sponsor of the Keystone Cup Series event for 410 sprint cars plus super
sportsman. Racing will begin at 7 p.m. both nights.
