KNOXVILLE, IOWA (November 17, 2011) – The non-profit National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum is pleased to announce the preliminary list of contingency prizes and ‘early bird’ prizes for its ninth biennial Sprint Car Raffle, this time featuring a brand-new winged 410-cubic-inch Don Ott-powered Eagle Motorsports sprint car as the grand prize. Other prizes to be awarded on December 21, 2012, are Bell GTX.2 Helmet from Bell Racing USA, Design 500 Racewear driver’s uniform, DeeZee Manufacturing toolbox, Xtreme Fuel Stick fuel management tool, and a racer’s package from Speedway Motors.

An ‘early bird’ drawing will be held on December 31, 2011, with those winning tickets being put back in the barrel, thus making them eligible to be drawn again on December 21, 2012, for the grand prize and contingency prizes. Amongst the ‘early bird’ prizes are two tickets for the 2012 Knoxville Nationals courtesy of Knoxville Raceway, two tickets for the 2012 Kings Royal weekend courtesy of Eldora Speedway, two $100 gift certificates courtesy of Williams Grove Speedway, and two 5-night ticket packages for the 2012 UNOH DIRTcar Nationals courtesy of the World of Outlaws (WoO).

Museum special events coordinator David Herrmann said today, “We are so appreciative of our marketing partners Eagle Motorsports, Don Ott Racing Engines, Bell, Design 500, DeeZee, Safety First USA, Speedway Motors, Knoxville Raceway, Eldora Speedway, Williams Grove Speedway, World Racing Group (WRG) and all of the sprint car manufacturers who have stepped up to the plate for our ninth major raffle. I strongly encourage sprint car teams and fans throughout North America to support these people and businesses who give back to the sport of sprint car racing on a regular basis. I would also encourage people to buy their raffle tickets now so as to avoid missing out on the opportunity to win any one of these fine prizes!”
