Seth Second With JSTS

– Seth Bergman’s confidence level is high right now, and the Washington driver continues to string together a flurry of top finishes as he snagged second Saturday night in Fairmont, MN.

Bergman made a rare appearance with the Jackson Speedway Touring Series on Saturday as they invaded the Fairmont Raceway.

“It was a big track, and we didn’t get to hot-lap so I felt like we were just a little behind all night,” Bergman quipped.

Heat race action saw Seth both start and finish third on a track that was continuing to widen out.

“We kept chasing our gear selection all night, and we definitely needed a little more gear in our heat as the track was pretty sticky,” Bergman continued.

The heat race finish put Bergman in the third row for the feature event.

“I was pleased with how we were our first time at the track, and the fact that we were pretty racy considering we weren’t able to hot-lap, and I was fairly confident heading into the feature,” he continued.

When the race went green, Bergman was able to work his Pete Petersen Motorsports mount up towards the front where he quickly raced his way into the top three.

Bergman continued to run in the third spot until the waning laps where he grabbed the second spot.

Bergman and his Pete Petersen Motorsports team would like to thank Superior Marine, Corridor Electric, Speedmart Inc, Eagle Chassis, ButlerBuilt, and 7 Industries for their support in 2012.

ON TAP: Bergman and his team will now meet back up with the Lucas Oil ASCS National Series for a very busy week ahead kicking off Wednesday night at the Valley Speedway in Green Valley, MO. Friday the series heads to i-80 in Greenwood, NE before making a Saturday-Sunday double header in Jetmore, KS for the Steve King Memorial.
