Phenix City, AL – June 14, 2012 – Jeff Swindell from Bartlett, Tennessee, another well known top gun sprint car driver, has added is name to the already potent list of entries headed to East Alabama Motor Speedway in Phenix City, Alabama for this weekend’s United Sprint Car Series presented by Goodyear 15th annual East Alabama Sprint Car Nationals on Friday and Saturday, June 15th and 16th. Swindell, who is brother to World of Outlaws sprint car Champion driver, Sammy Swindell and a former World of Outlaws sprint car star himself, has ten plus USCS victories on his resume including a streak of six-in-a row at one point. He is also a former Knoxville 360 Nationals Champion. Swindell will drive the Hammers Motorsports #94 from Belzoni, Mississippi in his quest to be the first to reach the www.rockauto.com USCS victory lane in this weekend’s Friday preliminary and Saturday’s 5th annual Randy Helton Memorial Race honoring former USCS competitor Randy Helton from Palmetto, Georgia.
The racing card on Friday night also includes the www.rockauto.com USCS 600 Sprint Car Series mini sprints, Nesmith Late Models and the EAMS Limited Sportsman and Hobby divisions. On Saturday night all five of those racing divisions return for the finals plus the Rookie Late Model, Bomber and Road Warrior divisions also compete.
