For the second straight week, consecutive days of rain have washed out the Action Track resulting in the cancelation of Fab Four Racing, the Joe Pitkavish Memorial and the “Cowboy” Brian Steinman Benefit Auction. Both the Memorial and the Auction have been scheduled for next Friday, August 3 along with ARCH Fan Club Night.

Inaugural $5,000-to-Win, $500-to-Start “Capitani Classic” at Knoxville
The inaugural “Capitani Classic” for winged 410-cubic-inch sprint cars, will take place on Sunday, August 5, at the Knoxville Raceway as part of the eleventh annual Cox Design & Metal Fabrication Iowa Speed Week. The 25-lap, 24-car ‘A’ main will pay $5000 to win and $500 to start, and will be a points-paying round for the Lucas Oil Knoxville Championship Cup Series.
