The USAC/STARS Mopar D1 Midgets continue their competitive racing season this Saturday at Kalamazoo (Mich.) Speedway as part of a Kalamazoo โ€œtripleheaderโ€ which includes the Midwest Ignite Midgets on the big oval and the USAC Mopar .25 Midgets in a โ€œGeneration Nextโ€ event on the trackโ€™s small oval.

Jim Anderson of Joliet, Ill. takes a 92-point lead over Patrick Wilda Jr. into the Kalamazoo program. Anderson was fourth and Wilda 18th in Saturdayโ€™s race at Grundy County Speedway in Morris, Ill.

Kyle Oโ€™Gara of Beech Grove, Ind. won Saturdayโ€™s Morris feature, leading the last 17 laps to beat fast qualifier Aaron Andruskevich, James Robertson, Anderson and Austin Prock. Robertson led the first 13 laps.
