Kyle Larson had to fight off Jerry Coons Jr. and the cushion but battled his way to the the USAC Midget “Gold Crown Midget Nationals” 50 lap feature win Saturday night at Tri-City Speedway. Larson and Coons were followed by Brad Sweet, Brad Kuhn and Rico Abreu.

MONTIETH CLAIMS 8TH LINCOLN WIN OF THE YEAR IN HANK GENTZLER MEMORIAL MANUFACTURERS NIGHT MAIN
“That was my only chance,” said a matter-of-fact Brian Montieth after claiming his eighth Lincoln win of the year and second straight Hank Gentzler Manufacturers Appreciation Night Race on Saturday night.
Montieth pulled a major league slider on Brent Marks during a 23rd lap restart and drove to his 34th career Lincoln win, taking home the $4,000 top prize.
