Park City, KS – (February 3, 2013) – It looks to be a banner year for National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products 360 sprint car divisions with two, $5000 events are part of the twelve – race 2013 schedule.
The 24th consecutive season for the “Winged Warriors” will kick off with a huge opening night event, the third annual “Air Capitol/Sunflower State Shootout” at 81 Speedway in Park City which will pay a whopping $5000 to the nights feature finale winner while just making the twenty car field pays $400 to start.
81 Speedway will play host to the tour once again on Saturday night, April 27th before hitting the track almost one month later for the third annual “Sprint Car Mania” at RPM Speedway in Hays, Kansas.
For the third time in four races, 81 Speedway will host the sprints as part of the “Hoosier Daddy/Bill Hall Memorial” on Father’s Day Sunday night, June 16th. The series modified division will also be competing.
The Great American Dirt Track in Jetmore, Kansas will host the 360 sprint series on “Independence Day” Thursday night, July 4th with the series 305 sprint car division also on the schedule.
The annual O’Reilly Auto Parts 57th Annual Hutchinson Grand National Auto Races Presented by Midwest Ford Toyota at the Kansas State Fairgrounds in Hutchinson, Kansas is set for Saturday night, July 13th with more details to be announced in the weeks leading up to this prestigious event.
The new Cornhusker 360 Sprint Car Series will join forces with the NCRA 360 sprinters on Saturday night, August 17th in the tours annual trip to Mid-Nebraska Speedway in Doniphan, Nebraska.
The eighth point race of the season will take place on their annual Labor Day Sunday night stop atop the Belleville High Banks in Belleville, Kansas on Sunday night, September 1st.
It will then be a huge two nights of racing the second weekend of September with the ASCS Midwest Sprint car series competing with the tour as part of the “Battle of the Winged Warriors” at Junction Motor Speedway in McCool, Nebraska on Saturday night, September 7th. Then on Sunday night the tour heads to Eagle Raceway in Lincoln, Nebraska and join forces with the Cornhusker 360 Sprint Car Series once again, this time taking part in the annual “Nebraska Cup” paying $5000 to win on Sunday night, September 8th.
A double header weekend will close out the season for the NCRA 360 sprint car tour, opening at the famed half mile oval at the Kansas State Fairgrounds in Hutchinson, Kansas on Friday night, September 28th before closing out the season on Saturday night at 81 Speedway.
Since 1971 the NCRA has sanctioned dirt track races across the Great Plains with the series currently sanctioning five other divisions. They include modifieds, southern sport modifieds, late models, 360 sprint cars, 305 sprint cars and new mod-lites.
