Peoria, AZ — (February 11th, 2013) — Western World Champion and Winter Challenge Champion would indicate a strong hold on the 1/3-mile clay oval of Peoria, Arizona’s Canyon Speedway Park, and that is just what Bryan Clauson intends to hold tightly as he heads back to Arizona for the Copper on Dirt.
Fielding a two car team, Clauson will pilot the American Heart Association #39 BCI/CTR/Curb-Agajanian entry along side Dillon Welch in the American Heart Association/Curb Records #39 BCI/CTR/Curb-Agajanian USAC Midget. The duo will take aim in the USAC midget ranks this go around but Clauson is also expected to field Mike Martins Ultimate Offroad machine for USAC/CRA competition as well.
2012 USAC Driver of the Year and Indy 500 starter, Bryan Clauson, sets his sites on the 6th Annual “Copper on Dirt” featuring USAC Western Midgets, USAC/CRA Sprint Cars, The West Coast Late Model Shootout and IMCA Modifieds all taking part in a sensational racing spectacle at Peoria’s Canyon Speedway for two nights on March 1st and 2nd marking Canyon Speedway as the only dirt track venue in the country to host all four premier divisions in one event.
