Tim Kaeding continues to show strength against the World of Outlaws, as he scored a fifth place finish on Friday night, before charging his way forward to an eighth place finish on Saturday night.

Action kicked off for Kaeding and his Roth Motorsports team as they followed the World of Outlaws to the Jackson Speedway in Jackson, MN.

With 34 cars on hand, TK timed his Roth Enterprises/HR Livestock Transportation/3H Cattle machine in ninth quick in time trials.

Starting on the front row of his heat alongside Jason Sides, TK settled into the second spot, as he earned a berth into the dash, as well as the 30-lap feature.

Kaeding’s run from sixth to fourth in the dash, put his Mobil1 FK Rod Ends/Weld Wheels machine in the second row of the feature event, as he eyed his sixth series win.

When the green light’s flickered on, TK got off as he maintained in the fourth spot. Kaeding would slip back to fifth just several laps into the feature, as a charging Donny Schatz got past him.

Maintaining in fifth, Kaeding had a front row seat to a battle between Big Game Tree Stands teammates, Craig Dollanksy and Sammy Swindell. While the duo duked it out for third, TK kept them within shouting distance, waiting for a mistake.

Though he would pull up on their bumpers, TK was unable to get around them, and settled for fifth.

Saturday night, the team went to work at the Knoxville Raceway, a track TK has found success at in the past.

With 41 cars on hand, Kaeding got off to a rough start, as he timed in a dismal 23rd quickest.

While he was not thrilled with his time, fans at the track knew they would be in for a show.

Starting sixth in his heat, the San Jose, CA pilot advanced two positions in his heat, and he made the transfer into the feature event, where he would start in the 21st position.

In true TK fashion, he found the top to his liking, as he went to work on the cushion, working his way through the field.

Getting into 10th late in the race, Kaeding would make a couple swift move in the closing laps, as he ended his night the KSE Hard Charger honors with his eighth place finish.

“Overall it was a great weekend for our team,” he said. “Though we did not time in well on Saturday, we had plenty of speed all weekend long. I have to thank Troy Welty for everything he has done for our team up until this past weekend, as he will now go work with the California team.”

Tim and his Roth Motorsports team would like to thank Roth Enterprises, HR Livestock Transportation, 3H Cattle,  Mobil1, FK Rod Ends, Weld Wheels, Brown and Miller Racing Solutions, Kent Performance, Kaeding Performance, and Astro Titanium for their support in 2013.
