Danny Reidy and the Reidy Racing team are excited about the 2013-14 Sprintcar season and will base their racing schedule in their home state, Queensland.

After a consistent run last season, when he was rewarded with a second place in the Queensland Club Championship and a fifth in the Archerfield Speedway-based KRE Series point standings, Reidy has planned a similar 2013-14 season schedule.

“I really enjoyed racing in Queensland last season, and my consistent results showed how much of a positive affect it had on my racing,” commented the NQ # 5 Desert Palms Resort in Alice Springs supported J&J driver. “After 10 years on the road travelling around the country, being able to base my racing in Queensland has brought a lot less stress.”

Reidy is planning to contest the majority of Queensland race meetings in the 2013-14 season, along with making trips south of his home state, when there is a gap in the local calendar, to compete at Sydney Speedway (NSW), along with the Grand Annual Classic (Premier Speedway, Vic), the King’s Challenge (Borderline Speedway, SA), and the President’s Cup (Avalon Raceway, Vic) in late January.

“The goals for this season are to build on last season’s results and hopefully pick up a few feature-race wins along the way,” Reidy said. “I’m excited about running at the new Toowoomba Speedbowl. Woodsy (Toowoomba Speedbowl promoter Allan Woods) has done an awesome job with the new configuration of the track, and it’s great that promoters are starting to listen to the drivers, and realising that tracks need to start getting with the modern times.”

Reidy’s 2013-14 season will kick off on September 13 and 14 (Friday and Saturday night) at the Toowoomba Speedbowl for their $10,000 to win show.

The Reidy Racing team would like to thank Desert Palms Resort in Alice Springs, Camden Neon Signs, P&M Motor Body Repairs, Gonzo’s Race Pipes and Inglis Race Engines for all of their 2013-14 season support.
