TULSA, Okla. (Jan. 3, 2014) – The 29th annual Speedway Motors Tulsa Shootout has reached the midpoint with two more exciting days remaining at Tulsa Expo Raceway.
RacinBoys, with partners including Speedway Motors and Eagle Motorsports, has broadcast the premier micro sprint event with live Pay-Per-View since the first green flag and will continue the programming on Friday when the action is scheduled to start at approximately 9 a.m. (CST).
Through the first two days of competition, 133 heat races and qualifiers have been contended for the 921 entrants (513 drivers) from 24 states and three Canadian provinces. California drivers Giovanni Scelzi and Austin Stone each have four wins throughout multiple classes as 22 drivers have recorded at least two victories during heat race and/or qualifier action.
Three classes already have the main event polesitter determined with Jonathan Beason starting on the pole for the nonwing outlaw A Main, Mitchell Faccinto on the pole for the “A” class A Main and T.J. Worcester starts on the inside of the front row for the 1200cc mini sprints A Main – all contested on Saturday.

Fans can also be treated to a Pay-Per-View broadcast via RacinBoys from the 28th annual Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals presented by General Tire from Jan. 14-18. The entire week will be live until MAVTV starts its broadcast during the finale on Jan. 18.

The 29th edition of the Speedway Motors Tulsa Shootout showcases more than 900 entries to the Tulsa Expo Raceway in Tulsa, Okla., Wednesday through Saturday, Jan. 1-4. Classes include 600cc winged outlaw micro sprints, 600cc nonwinged outlaw micro sprints, “A” class, nonwing, restricted “A” class, JR sprint, ECOtec Chevy-RRE-SET Racing and ECOtec Ford Focus, and 1200cc mini sprints.
