Rossburg, OH – (July 12, 2014) – Dustin Daggett had not visited Eldora Speedway’s victory lane since 1997, but returned to visit after dominating the K&L Ready Mix NRA Sprint Invaders feature during the 31st Annual Kings Royal. Daggett took the lead off the pole from Tim Allison and led every lap in route to victory.
“Oh man, it’s been a long time (since he last won at Eldora). To win front of this many people, these fans are great. Its pretty awesome, I don’t’ even know what to say,” said Daggett. “The car was great, we were able to maneuver through lapped traffic really good. I have to thank Phil and Marty Mott, Richardson Farms, Emegency Fuels, All Star Performance, Sweet Manufactures, Brewster’s Fine Foods and Spirits.”
Daggett took the lead from the start and checked out from the rest of the field. Allison eventually found him in a race with Butch Schroeder and Randy Hannagan for the second spot. Schroeder did take second for a handful of laps before Allison regained the position. Hannagan made a late race charge into third around Schreoder, but could not catch Allison for second.
Up front though it was all Daggett lapping almost into the top-10. Allison, Hannagan, Schroeder, and Robbie Stillwaggon rounded out the top five.
