(December 23, 2014) – Caistor Centre, Ontario – Team Turner Racing would like to wish all of their supporters and fans Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and best wishes for 2015! Jamie Turner and sons Cory and Ryan took home some hardware from several awards banquets recently, and now have their focus squarely on the 2015 racing season.
Jamie and Cory both received awards at the Ohsweken Speedway banquet for finishing 8th and 10th respectively in the 360 Sprint Car championship standings, while Cory also received the 360 Sprint Car Rookie of the Year award.
Jamie also took home an award from the Southern Ontario Sprints club banquet for finishing 9th in the SOS championship standings.
Ryan enjoyed a fine rookie season in the DIRTcar Sportsman Modified division, taking home awards for finishing 10th in the championship standings at Merrittville Speedway, and 7th at Humberstone Speedway, along with Rookie of the Year awards from both tracks.
“We had a very busy summer with the team racing 3 nights a week,” said Jamie. “Cory and Ryan both had great rookie seasons in their respective divisions, and we all had top 10 finishes in our points championships.”
Team Turner Racing has even more Sprint Car racing planned for 2015, with Ryan looking forward to a new challenge in his racing career.
