Future National Sprint Car Hall of Famer Joey Saldana will be one of the many World of Outlaws drivers looking to park it in victory lane at the Stockton Dirt Track this weekend. The driver known as the Brownsburg Bullet set the track record last year with a blazing fast 12.869 around the Stockton clay and led a number of laps in the feature, before coming home third.
Saldana currently ranks 6th in the WOO standings, 36-digits behind point leader Shane Stewart. Last season he raced to seven World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series wins and ended the campaign fifth in the final standings. He ranks sixth on the all-time World of Outlaws win list with 91 career victories. The only drivers ahead of him on the illustrious list are Steve Kinser, Sammy Swindell, Donny Schatz, Mark Kinser & Doug Wolfgang.

Saturday March 21: Ticket Sales/ Will Call opens at noon, Front gate opens at 4pm, Cars on track at 5:15, Qualifying at 6 & first heat race at 7.
Sunday March 22: Ticket Sales/ Will Call opens at noon, Front gate opens at 3pm, Cars on track at 4:15, Qualifying at 5 & first heat race at 6.
Delta Speedway, also located on the Fairgrounds, will be running a special Micro race on Friday March 20, making it a three-night happening on the property. World of Outlaws point leader Shane Stewart is entered in the event. There is also a post race party in the works for Saturday night following the races, along with a breakfast on Sunday morning. During the day on Saturday & Sunday there will be a live band & car show behind the grandstand area, so make plans to arrive at the track early.
The Stockton Dirt Track is a lightning fast 3/8 mile clay oval and is located on the San Joaquin County Fairgrounds in Stockton, California.
