Pierce leads second day of Little 500 practice

Anderson, IN — (May 20, 2015) — Aaron Pierce led the second day of practice for the 67th annual Pay Less Little 500 on Wednesday. Pierce turned a lap of 11.167 seconds around the high banked ¼-mile oval. Pierce, who has multiple victories at Anderson, is still seeking his first victory in the Little 500.

JoJo Helberg, defending champion Jacob Wilson, Ryan Litt, and Donny Adams, Jr. rounded out the top five. 32 cars turned laps on Wednesday, none of which were the three car effort of Gene Nolen who were among the top five fastest cars on Tuesday.

The first round of qualifications for the Pay Less Little 500 begins Thursday at 1:30 p.m. EST.
