Rochester, NY — (July 1, 2015) — It is with great regret that the Patriot Sprint Tour is forced to announce that they will not race at Stateline Speedway this Saturday, July 4th.
Despite countless efforts, PST Management was unable to secure necessary insurance and financial requirements from Stateline Speedway Management heading in to Saturday’s event.
“This is the last thing I wanted for our drivers, teams and fans for this weekend,” stated PST President Mike Emhof. “We were confident after the success of our show there back in May they would produce the needed documentation but it simply did not happen.”
Added Emhof, “As a sanctioning body, we must provide and protect for our teams to ensure they will be paid and trust that insurance would be in place in case of incident.”
The event at Stateline will not be rescheduled. All other Patriot events remain as scheduled, including Friday Night at Little Valley Speedway and Sunday Night at Eriez Speedway.
