DeGraff, OH — (July 4, 2015) — Officials of the United States Speed Association have announced that they are canceling the Sprint Car Challenge Series Built by the UAW race at Shady Bowl Speedway.
Series officials feel they cannot meet their business commitment to Shady Bowl Speedway to produce a quality field of cars.
“We regret any inconvenience this decision may cause our competitors and fans. Rather than bring a subpar race to Shady Bowl, we feel it’s in the best interest of all to cancel the show,” said Eric Bunn, Vice President of USSA.
The remainder of the Shady Bowl July 4th events will race as scheduled.
