Macon, IL — (July 24, 2015) — One time per season, the MOWA sprint cars come to Macon Speedway during the Illinois Sprint Week and the 410 winged sprint cars put on an amazing show this past Saturday night.
Cory Bruns of Lincoln was set to have a great race in the 25-lap A-Main feature event. Leading through the opening nine laps, he was slowed by lapped cars and was passed by dash winner Adam Jones and in his attempt to regain the lead in the fourth turn, Bruns spun out and the caution flag came out. Jones took off with the lead and was chased down by Parker Price-Miller, who got the lead with the slide job in the fourth turn of the 13th lap. Jones would once again bounce back in the lead on the white flag lap and coming from the fourth turn Price-Miller performed another slide job but could not make it hold as a side-by-side finish would go to Jones from Wright City, Mo.
