BRANDON, S.D. (Aug. 14, 2023) – Huset’s Speedway is showcasing another marquee event on Tuesday when the High Limit Sprint Car Series visits the track for the Northwest Tire Inc. High Limit Sprint Car Series presented by Bank Midwest.
The race – only the ninth in series history – pays $23,023 to win and will mark the first time the High Limit Sprint Car Series hits the high-banked oval.
NASCAR champion and recent Knoxville Nationals winner Kyle Larson enters the event on top of the High Limit Sprint Car Series championship standings by 47 points over Rico Abreu. Cory Eliason (122 points behind Larson), Justin Peck (145 points back) and Chase Randall (153 points back) round out the top five in the standings.
Larson leads the series with three triumphs. Abreu, Peck, Anthony Macri, Giovanni Scelzi and Buddy Kofoid have each recorded one victory.
The Cressman Sanitation 410 Outlaw Sprint Cars will compete with the High Limit Sprint Car Series in a non-points race. Brooke Tatnell is three points ahead of Mark Dobmeier with Randall (12 points back), Riley Goodno (20 points back) and Justin Henderson (39 points back) in the top five.
The Nordstrom’s Automotive Late Model Street Stocks is also part of the racing program. Zach Olivier owns a 12-point advantage over Matt Steuerwald in the standings. J.J. Zebell (16 points back), Tim Dann (21 points back) and Ron Howe (26 points back) fill the top five in the standings.
The grandstands open at 4:30 p.m. with hot laps scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m.
General admission tickets are $40 for adults and $20 for children ages 6-years-old to 12-years-old. Children 5-years-old and younger get in free.

Huset’s Speedway is a dirt oval located in Brandon, S.D. The track opened in 1954 and has undergone a large renovation within the last few years, making it a premier destination for both marquee racing events and weekly programs.
