ROSSBURG, OH (September 22, 2024) — Daison Pursley won the USAC AMSOIL National Sprint Car Series portion of the 42nd 4-Crown Nationals Saturday night at Eldora Speedway. Following a pass where he went from fourth to second, Pursley drove by Stevie Sussex for the lead and drove away for the victory. The win was added to his pair of USAC National Midget Car Series triumps Friday and Saturday at Eldora.

Stevie Sussex and Kyle Cummins started on the front row for the 30-lap feature event. Sussex took the lead with drivers racing three wide for the second position behind him with Kevin Thomas Jr. moving into the spot around Kyle Cummins.

Thomas was able to get a couple of looks under Sussex in the early stages of the feature but could not make the pass. On lap six, Logan Seavey got sideways in turns one and two but was able to gather his car up and appeared he would lose several positions, but then caught a break when Cale Drake spun in turns three and four while running in the fourth position to bring out the caution flag. Because the leaders had not crossed the finish line, Seavey was able to get his position back.

Sussex continued to lead during the restart with Thoams and Cummins in two. Behind this trio Daison Pursley was making his presence felt moving into the fourth position and joining in the three-car race for the lead.

ON lap six Thomas was able to slide by Sussex to take the lead while Pursley passed Cummins and Sussex to take the lead on lap seven. Two laps later, Pursley was able to get under Thomas for the lead. Pursley was able to secure the position on lap 10 and motored away from the field.

From there Pursley pulled away while Seavey made a late feature run up to third position on lap 18 but could not move further forward.

Up front it was all Pursley taking the victory over Thomas, Seavey, Cummins, and Robert Ballou.
