TULSA, OK (January 13, 2026) – Blake Hahn finally accomplished a longtime career goal on Tuesday night by winning feature during the Warren Cat Qualifying night at the 40th Chili Bowl Nationals powered by NOS Energy Drink.
Hahn from nearby Sapulpa, Oklahoma, whose Grandfather Emmett is the co-promoter and creator of the Chili Bowl Nationals, charged from eighth starting spot rim riding the track in the late stages of the event to pass Hank Davis for the lead with eight laps to go and held off Davie through slower traffic for the victory to lock himself into the Chili Bowl finale.
Zach Daum and J.J. Yeley started on the front row for the 30-lap main event. Daum leads with Rueschenberg driving under J.JH. Yeley to take the second position. Yeley then found himself under pressure from Hank Daves for the third position with Davis taking the spot.
One lap later a multiple car pileup occurred when Ricky Thornton Jr. and Chase Randall made contact and stacked up multiple cars, included Jonathan Beason, who drove up from the D-Main into the A-Main.
Daum continues to the lead with Rueschenberg going to the top of the racetrack which allowed Davis to drive into second. Davis quickly closed in on the back bumper of Daum.
The second caution flag of the event occurred when Zimmerman rolled to a stop on the backstretch while 98K went to the pit area after being involved in the pile up earlier in the event.
The restart was short lived as the caution flag appeared with nine laps in when Ryan Timms stopped in turn four after Timms had to check up to avoid another car. Timms was able to join the tail of the field of the restart.
Davis jumped to the track on the restart and drove around the outside of Daum for the lead on lap 11.
Futher back in the field Hahn started to roll the top and blasted into third position around Daum on lap 22 and quickly caught Davis to challenge for the lead. With six laps to go Hahn was able to drive around the top of Davis as well to take the lead.
Davis was able to close back in on Hahn in the final laps, actually pulling along side Hahn coming to the checkered flag off turn four with Hahn holding on by 0.114 seconds for the victory.
15 year old phenom Jett Barnes was able to drive up to third spot from ninth starting position while Daum and Landon Brooks rounded out the top five.
