Mark Dobmeier – One Short of a Hat Trick!
Two wins highlighted the weekend for “Dynamite” Mark Dobmeier and the Lunstra/Dobmeier #13 team. The Grand Forks, North Dakota driver picked up victories at both the Knoxville Raceway in Iowa on Saturday and the Huset’s Speedway near Brandon, South Dakota on Sunday.

Wednesdays with Wayne – Another Win at Ohsweken!
Wayne Johnson racked up another win in Ontario at the Ohsweken Speedway last Friday night. The Knoxville, Iowa driver felt he should have picked up at least one more win on a weekend that saw three events. The Wayne Johnson Racing #77x team is contemplating their race weekend with plenty of shows scheduled for the Upper Midwest.

ASCS Frontier sprints hit home stretch, set for three nights at Great Falls
Great Falls, Montana will be the center of attention in the north central U.S. this weekend as the ASCS Frontier Region sprint car tour returns to Electric City Speedway for the 20th Annual Montana Round-Up on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

34th ANNUAL BOB LOCKARD MEMORIAL ON TAP FOR STARS MIDGETS
Saturday night, August 30th, the Grundy County Speedway will host the 34th Annual “Bob Lockard Memorial” featuring the D’Arcy GMC STARS National Midgets. The race honors the memory of Lockard, the legendary car owner from Joliet, Illinois whose midgets competed and won several events in UARA, WOOM, and USAC.

Schedule Update: ASCS Gulf South
The remainder of the 2014 lineup for the Griffith Truck and Equipment ASCS Gulf South Region has been updated.
According to Regional Director, Keith Johnson, races at the Leesville 171 Speedway in Leesville, La. have been moved from Saturday, August 30 to Saturday, September 6 as weather reports continued to show an 80%-90% chance of rain in the area this weekend.

ASCS Warrior Region at RCR now $2,000 and $4,000 to Win!
After announcing this weekend’s Speedway Motors ASCS Warrior Regional events at the Randolph County Raceway at $1,500 to win on Saturday, August 30 and $2,000 to win on Sunday, August 31, management of the high-banked Missouri oval have decided to up the winner’s check both nights to $2,000 to win on Saturday and $4,000 to win on Sunday.
