The URSS Rebels return to Rolling Plains Motor Speedway

The United Rebels Sprint Series take to the 3/8’s mile oval at the RPM Speedway this Saturday, May 30th for the first of four URSS Sanctioned events in the 2015 racing season. The parity in URSS Series continues in 2015 with two winners in as many events. Coming off of his first ever URSS Feature event win 2014 URSS Kansas Region Rookie of the Year Jed Werner and Series Regular Jeff Radcliffe look to continue their winning ways. Another URSS regular who had a great finish at Wakeeney Speedway, Ness City Kansas ace Lucas Cranston will be looking to build on that finish. Former National Champion Brian Herbert will look to bounce back after last week’s troubles.

USAC prepares for double features at Lincoln next week

The second round of the Eastern Storm invades the Pigeon Hills on Wednesday, June 3 at 7:00 PM with the AMSOIL USAC National Sprint Car Series and the Mach 1 Chassis 360/358 Sprint Cars at the Lincoln Speedway. A big and exciting night of competition is planned with a full show for both the USAC and 360/358 MACH 1 Sprints plus the make-up features from the 2014 rain out. Gates will open at 5 PM.

Dirt Classic qualifier adds updated format to list of reasons to attend

Racing season is heating up in Central Pennsylvania, with higher-than-average car counts and competition as stiff as ever. Lincoln Speedway alone has seen seven different winners in ten races, with Alan Krimes, Greg Hodnett, Danny Dietrich, Brian Montieth, J.J. Grasso, Glenndon Forsythe, and Lance Dewease all scoring wins.

ASCS Frontier Season Opening Weekend, Take 3

After bad weather twice thwarted efforts by the Frontier Region of the American Sprint Car Series to kick off its 2015 season the tour will make its third try to get things going with events scheduled this Friday and Saturday nights at Billings Motorsports Park.
