30TH Annual ISMA Banquet Honors Lichty Team Champions
The International Supermodified team gathered at the Turning Stone Casino on Saturday, Nov. 3 to once again honor its new champions and recognize the other achievers for 2012. And, for the second time in the group’s history, the giant ISMA championship trophy will be hauled back to Canada by the Lichty Team of Innerkip, Ontario. Brad Lichty and Dave McKnight became the first back in 2001.

Selinsgrove Speedway & Raceway Park concluded the 2012 season, which marked the track’s 50th consecutive year of operation, with the 12th annual awards banquet Saturday evening at the Sheraton Harrisburg-Hershey Hotel. The event recognized and celebrated the year’s top performing race teams in the track’s 358 sprint car, late model, pro stock, roadrunner, micro sprint car, and go kart classes.

A Strong Showing for Tracy Hines at the Oval Nationals: Finishes Second & Fourth
Tracy Hines knew heading into the 17th Annual Budweiser Oval at Perris Auto Speedway in Southern California that he would have as good of a chance as ever to claim a win in the West Coast’s biggest non-wing sprint car race of the season. After all he had a couple of victories at the high-banked half-mile Eldora Speedway in Ohio this season, a track that is similar to Perris in many regards.
