Kyle Sauder Captures All Star Speedweek Main at Limaland

There’s just something special about
Ohio Sprint Speedweek at Limaland Motorsports Park. In 2010, David Gravel
would score his first win with the O’Reilly Auto Parts All Star Circuit of
Champions on route to the speedweek championship. On Friday, Archbold,
Ohio’s Kyle Sauder passed four time speedweek champion Dale Blaney on the
10th lap and then held off a big challenge from current speedweek point
leader Tim Shaffer late in the race to score his first career 410 sprint
and All Star win.

Shaffer passes Smith late for All Star’s Ohio Sprint Speedweek win at Attica

The battle for the O’Reilly Auto Parts All Star Circuit of Champions national and Ohio region points title could be decided during the 29th Annual Ohio Sprint Speedweek. And, two-time and defending All Star champion Tim Shaffer has given notice that he is ready to make a run at both, as the Aliquippa, Pennsylvania driver passed Stevie Smith late in the 40-lap affair to claim the win at Attica Raceway Park Friday night.
