29th Annual National Sprint Car Hall of Fame Induction Banquet a Huge Success

Promoter Steve Beitler of Washington, champion driver Lance Dewease of Pennsylvania, mechanic Scott Gerkin, and media member Bob Mays of Nebraska each took center stage Saturday afternoon, June 2, as they were officially inducted into the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame (NSCHoF) in Knoxville. Emcees Dave Argabright and Dr. Pat Sullivan, and a crowd of over 350 guests, enjoyed the three-hour ceremony, which honored the exceptional careers of eight inductees.

Marion County Fairboard Association Donates to Bryan Clauson Suite Tower

The National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum announced today that longtime partners, the Marion County Fairboard Association, voted at their monthly meeting held earlier this week, to donate $200,000 over the next five years to the Bryan Clauson Suite Towers, as well as a pledge to include $100,000 of physical improvements to the property.

Donny Schatz is North American 410 Sprint Car Poll “Driver of the Year” for Tenth Time

or the tenth time in his career, Donny Schatz of Fargo, North Dakota, was voted the “Driver of the Year” by the North American 410 Sprint Car Poll voting panel of media members, promoters, sanctioning officials and manufacturers. The 2017 World of Outlaws (WoO) champion earned seventeen (17) of the twenty (20) first-place ballots cast in the year-end poll. David Gravel earned the other three first place votes.
