Stinson Wins Photo Finish at Skyline
A nice crowd and warm-tropical weather set the back-drop for what proved to be another wonderful reception for the 4th Annual Greg Schilling Memorial at Billy Jarrell’s Skyline Speedway in Stewart, Ohio. Two-time defending OVSCA sprint car champion Jimmy Stinson pulled off a photo finish win over Nathan Skaggs in the 410 outlaw sprint division.

One of the largest crowds in recent years turned out to honor a very special lady as part of “The Sarah Bond Big Three” in memory of Sarah Bond, wife of long time Ohio Valley racing legend Ronnie Bond. Cole Duncan, Lockborne, OH claimed the win in the 30-lap Ohio Valley Sprint Car Association main.

Washington, WV driver Greg Mitchell claimed his first-ever 410 sprint feature over Josh Davis and Jimmy Stinson Friday at Skyline Speedway.

Another great night of racing at Billy Jarrell’s Skyline Speedway saw two newcomers to victory lane– Roy Roush, Tuppers Plains, Ohio in the Malta Windows AMRA Modifieds and Nathan Skaggs, Circleville, Ohio in the 410 Ohio Valley Sprint Car Association 25-lap A-main. In the Tru-Tech AMRA Late Model main, Chris Garnes, Evans, West Virginia picked up his fifth Skyline win of the year, while Cole Mayle posted a last lap win over Coleton Perine. Overall, 67 cars in four classes saw competition.
