Fisher Files – Power Outage at the Lake!

Josh Fisher held his own against the best the Lucas Oil ASCS National Series at his home track, Lake Ozark Speedway near Eldon, Missouri. The twelfth place finish in the Daniel McMillin/Jesse Hockett Memorial after coming through the B, rang a little hollow with him, however, as the car was a bit down on power. The good news was the problem was found later, and he looks forward to another week at Jacksonville Speedway in Illinois and back at LOS.

Bud Kaeding scores fourth on Saturday at Giant Chevrolet Kings Speedway

After having issues cut a strong run short on Friday at Ocean Speedway Campbell, California’s Bud Kaeding rebounded on Saturday night in Hanford and raced to a fourth place finish in the main event with the Golden State Challenge Series during his first winged sprint car start of the year at the Giant Chevrolet Kings Speedway.

Brian Brown – Back on Top at Knoxville!

Brian Brown was back on top of the heap at Knoxville Raceway last Saturday, and it came on a special night as well. His grandfather, George Lasoski, was inducted into the Knoxville Raceway during intermission. The win put the Grain Valley, Missouri driver back on top of the point standings as well. This week, he’ll race four times, including a make-up of the World of Outlaws show in Sedalia, two nights with the ASCS-Midwest in Nebraska and back at Knoxville.

Wednesdays with Wayne – Second at Knoxville First Night Out!

Wayne Johnson’s return to the Knoxville Raceway went well. After putting his team together in a few days, it was time to load his #77x on the flatbed and head into town. This was the seventh different sprinter Wayne has run in 2010. The result was a second place on Mid-Season Championship night. The $3,000 check will come in handy as he prepares to do some double-duty this Saturday night.

Lapped traffic crash ends Allard’s bid at Dirt Cup

In position to bring home a third career victory at the $25,000-to-win Jim Raper Memorial Dirt Cup Chico, California’s Jonathan Allard’s hopes at that came to a crashing halt on Saturday night, after a tangle with a lapped car just past the halfway point ended what looked to be a very good possibility at scoring the big money once again in the 39th running of the event.

Austin McCarl – A Rocky Victory!

The wait was over for seventeen year old Austin McCarl when he pulled into Victory Lane at the Rapid Speedway in Rock Rapids, Iowa last Saturday night. The win marked his first in a 410 sprint car. The Altoona, Iowa driver will try it again this weekend at the Knoxville Raceway.
