USAC NATIONAL CHAMPION CLAUSON TESTS TORC TRUCK AT CYCLE RANCH

Two-time USAC National Driver’s Champion and Mopar National Midget Champion Bryan Clauson of Noblesville, Ind. took advantage of a unique opportunity last week as he traveled to Cycle Ranch MX near San Antonio, Texas to practice an off-road truck for the first time. On the invitation of Traxxas owner & CEO Mike Jenkins, Clauson was able to experience another side of USAC, as the organization also owns The Off-Road Championship (TORC).

TEAM INCLUDING CLOUSER, WEASE & ADAMS CLAIM 15TH “FUN AT FASTIMES” TROPHY

Nick Richards served as the team captain for the winning team Saturday as his team, which included USAC racing veterans Donnie Adams, Mario Clouser and Billy Wease, swept to victory in the 15th Annual “Fun at Fastimes” go-kart endure in Indianapolis, Ind. The event, held at the Fastimes Karting Center, benefitted the USAC Benevolent Foundation.

PERRIS “SOKOLA SHOOTOUT” OPENS 2012 USAC/CRA SEASON THIS SATURDAY

This Saturday, February 25th, the Amsoil USAC/CRA Sprint Car Series will kickoff their 2012 campaign at Perris Auto Speedway. Joining the traditional 410 cubic-inch powered machines will be the winged California Lightning Sprints and popular PAS Senior 360 Sprint Cars. The spectator gates for the “Sokola Shootout” will open at 5:00pm, with racing at “America’s Premier Dirt Track” to begin at 7:00pm.
