PETALUMA HOSTS 101-LAP “2ND ANNUAL JOHNNY SOARES CLASSIC”

This Saturday, October 5th, the Honda USAC Western Midget Series will invade Petaluma Speedway for the “2nd Annual Johnny Soares Classic.” The 101-lap “shootout” with the Bay Cities Racing Association (BCRA) will award $1,500 to the main event winner.

WESTERN MIDGETS AT BAKERSFIELD SATURDAY

Bakersfield (Calif.) Speedway hosts the Honda USAC Western Dirt Midgets Saturday and Ronnie Gardner will try to continue his drive to the 2013 series title. He’s already posted a dozen “podium” finishes, including six wins. One of his seconds came at Bakersfield in a race earlier this year won by Cody Swanson.

“HARVEST CLASSIC” SATURDAY AT MADERA

This Saturday’s “Harvest Classic” at Madera (Calif.) Speedway completes the 2013 Honda USAC Western Pavement Midget slate and Chad Nichols enters the race with a 13-point lead over Nick Chivello. Scot Pierovich is just 17 back and Dan Gundo is 21 back. Saturday’s race is co-sanctioned by BCRA.
