With the completion of the 2016 racing season, Hartford Speedway owners Tim and Leah Dibble sat down with a vision to add to the excitement for the 2017 season. “As an entertainment facility we needed to look at all our options to attract new customers. While our car counts have slowly increased, we feel the new design will welcome cars from all over the country, while giving our die hard fans some of the speed they are used to seeing” stated Tim Dibble.

Merritt Speedway to Host All Star Circuit of Champions Event in 2017
One of the oldest traveling sprint car organizations will be making its first trip north to Merritt Speedway in 2017. The Artic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions, which will be in its third year of ownership under Tony Stewart, travels to historic racing venues across the Midwest and will add the Lake City, Michigan speedway to its agenda for the new year.

Cory Haas will join John Trone and Trone Outdoor Motorsports in 2017 for an intense Central Pennsylvania schedule consisting of 60-65 events, pushing most of their focus toward competition at Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway. The newly formed combination will also enter select events at Susquehanna Speedway and Port Royal Speedway; decisions to be made as the season progresses.
