Ian Madsen repeats at Iowa State Speedway with Sprint Invaders sweep

Ian Madsen was the class of the field Wednesday night with the Shottenkirk.com Sprint Invaders at the Iowa State Fair Speedway in Des Moines. The St. Mary’s, New South Wales, Australia driver swept the night’s events by winning his heat, the Dash and the $1,500 feature in the KCP Racing #18. It was his second career Sprint Invaders win. His previous victory also came in Des Moines.

Gravel Grabs Second Win of Season at Haubstadt

David Gravel knew there would be some added pressure as the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series rolled into Tri-State Speedway near Haubstadt, Ind.
The CJB Motorsports team that Gravel drives for visited victory lane at the famous bullring in 2014 and 2015. It was up to the Watertown, Conn. driver to take the streak to three years running.

Clauson 26th during practice on Wednesday at Indianapolis

Bryan Clauson had another busy day of practice on Wednesday at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in preparation for the 100th edition of the Indianapolis 500. Following Tuesday’s complete wash out of practice activity Clauson returned to the track turning a top speed of 223.383 miles per hour, placing him 26th out of the 34 cars that practiced.
