Weather has claimed Saturday night’s USAC Eastern Midget race at Carteret County Speedway. The series now gears up for its 2016 opener April 15 at Anderson Motor Speedway in Williamston, S.C.

Sprint Invaders event at 34 Raceway postponed until Sunday
The Shottenkirk.com Sprint Invaders event scheduled for Saturday night has been postponed until Sunday. Pit gates will open at 3:00 PM, grandstands open at 4:00, and hot laps will take place at 5:00 with racing to follow.

Jumping in the John James owned No. 4j, El Paso’s John Carney II picked up his third overall A-Feature victory in 2016, and his second career win with the Carlyle Tools ASCS Southwest Region at the Southern New Mexico Speedway in the ASCS Southwest Sprint Car Shootout.

Sweet Battles Schuchart for Ocean Speedway Win
Logan Schuchart looked poised to claim his first ever World of Outlaws Craftsman® Sprint Car Series victory Friday night at the Ocean Outlaw Showdown at Ocean Speedway, but a late race restart put Brad Sweet in position and Sweet battled past Schuchart with 13 laps to go and claimed his fourth win of the season.
