Shannon McQueen of Tehachapi, Calif. is the 2012 recipient of USAC’s prestigious Kara Hendrick Spirit Award. The award was presented today at Lyn St. James’ “Women in the Winners Circle” gala, held at the Indiana Convention Center in downtown Indianapolis, Ind. in conjunction with the Indianapolis Motorsports Industry Show (IMIS).

Gehrke continues comeback by entering POWRi Midgets Battle at the Center at Du Quoin
Chett Gehrke of Broken Arrow, Okla., will continue his comeback from an injury that ended his strong regular season in August in the third annual Battle at the Center on Dec. 15, a non-points event sanctioned by the POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget Series, at the Southern Illinois Center’s Mini Magic Mile.

With the 2012 racing season officially in the books, Tracy Hines is gearing up for another busy year in 2013.
