Tommy Tarlton continued his string of strong finishes this past weekend at Ocean Speedway and at the Tulare Thunderbowl. Tarlton turned in a hair-raising drive after suffering a flat tire at Ocean Speedway during the Taco Bravo Series event, by charging from 20th to fifth.

Just a couple week’s removed from a career best Golden State Challenge Series finish of second, Vancouver, Washington’s Zach Zimmerly made the trip south to the Groppetti Automotive Thunderbowl Raceway in Tulare this past Saturday night and drove to an eighth place result in an entertaining 30-lap main event.

After a less than hoped for ending at the Dave Bradway Jr. Memorial the previous weekend Chico’s Jonathan Allard returned to his home track this most recent Friday and took the lead from fellow home-town driver Jason York with less than 10-laps remaining in the main event and charged to his fifth overall victory of the year in California.

Jerry Coons Jr. drove the Wilke-PAK#11 to a pair of feature victories this past weekend on May 15-16 in Wisconsin.
