Brian Brown – Winning the Battle at Battleground!

The 2010 season started in fine form for Brian Brown and his FVP #21 racing team last Saturday night at the Battleground Speedway in Highlands, Texas. He was able to top a stout ASCS-Gulf South field in exciting fashion for his first win of the season. He’ll stay in Texas and put the 410 in for some World of Outlaws action this weekend in Kilgore and Baytown.

Home Sweet Home: Jason Meyers Wins at Thunderbowl Raceway

Jason Meyers had been trying to win a World of Outlaws race at his home track of Groppetti Automotive Thunderbowl Raceway in Tulare since 2003. He came close on a couple of occasions, leading laps and being in contention, though never was quite able to make it to Victory Lane with the series at the high-banked 1/3-mile bullring. The native of nearby Clovis changed all of that on Friday night, as he won an exciting race over Joey Saldana to score the $10,000 triumph.
