Fresh off of a championship season in the Untied States in 2014, Ian Madsen has made his way back to his native Australia, as he is excited to kick off his 2014/2015 season with the D&B Goodyear Developments No. 10 team.

Traveling to the Atomic Speedway over the weekend for the Open Wheel Championships, Ian Madsen scored the McCann Memorial win from his 11th starting spot, before charging to 12th from his 26th starting spot during the 40-lap feature event.

Doing a little racing in the Dakota’s over the weekend, Ian Madsen charged from 18th to finish 8th with the World of Outlaws on Friday night, from 18th to finish fourth with the NOSA on Saturday night, and saw a fourth place run at the Huset’s Speedway slip away with a flat tire on Sunday night.

After losing a heartbreaker at the Knoxville Raceway two weeks ago, Ian Madsen backed up last weekends win, as he triumphed for his second straight Knoxville Championship Cup feature event win, as he won Sunday night’s Capitani Classic, and took the point lead, with just one night of action remaining.

Losing a heartbreaker at the Knoxville Raceway just one week ago, Ian Madsen returned to the “Mecca of Mud” on Saturday night and redeemed himself by taking the checkered flag, in what was a great week for Madsen and the KCP Racing team.

In a rain shortened weekend, Ian Madsen and his KCP Racing team had a big night at the Huset’s Speedway on Sunday night that saw the Austalian wheel-man charge to another second place finish at the speedway, and doing so assumed the track championship point lead.

Ian Madsen continued his strong start to the 2014 campaign as he absolutely dominated the MOWA race in Lincoln, IL on Friday night before recording a seventh place finish at the Knoxville Raceway on Saturday night.
