PRIZES AND CASH BONUSES CONTINUE TO MOUNT FOR “SPRINT CAR SMACKDOWN IV”

The Bob Darland Memorial scheduled for Sunday night at Kokomo Speedway was postponed due to rain. The Darland Memorial has been rescheduled for Sunday August 2nd.

Kokomo USAC event postponed until August 26th
Tonight’s resumption of the Kokomo Speedway Indiana Sprint Week AMSOIL USAC Sprint race has again been postponed by rain and will now be completed on Wednesday night, August 26 as the opening event of this year’s “Sprint Car Smackdown” at the Kokomo track. Rains forced the initial postponement at Kokomo last Saturday night during the semi feature. The August event will include the semi and the feature to complete that program.

Kokomo Sprint Week show postponed following heat races
The second night of Indiana Sprint Week for the Amsoil USAC National Sprint Car Series at Kokomo Speedway was rained out following the heat races. The race was postponed until Monday where the program will pick up with the semi and feature events following hot laps at 7:00 PM EST.
