One of the most anticipated stops on the Brockway Mechanical & Roofing Sprint Invaders is always the racy ¼-mile Cedar County Raceway in Tipton, Iowa. The annual event takes place this Thursday night, July 12, and there is plenty of anticipation!
Thirty-two cars signed into the pits at 34 Raceway in West Burlington. The track preparation by the Laues and their track crew kept the racing exciting.
It was a clean sweep for Matt Sutton of Macomb, Illinois Thursday night at the Lee County Speedway in Donnellson, Iowa. He led every lap for his fourth career victory at the 3/8-mile oval in Brockway Mechanical & Roofing Sprint Invaders competition.
Dustin Selvage is called “The Shocker”, but his win on Saturday night didn’t shock many in attendance at the 34 Raceway near West Burlington, Iowa as he had a dominant ride to his first career win with the Ideal Ready Mix Sprint Invaders. Forty-one sprint cars descended on West Burlington for Season Championship Night for the Invaders. Matt Sutton emerged with his first series title.
