Ohsweken, Ontario – November 1, 2013 – An information session and rules meeting has been scheduled for the recently-announced Crate Sprint Cars division joining the weekly Friday night schedule at Ohsweken Speedway in 2014.
The meeting will be held at the Styres/Hill race shop at 43 Mohawk Road at 1:00pm on Saturday, December 7. The shop is located at 43 Mohawk Road, around the corner from Townline Variety, near the intersection of Indian Line and Mohawk Road. Those planning to attend are asked to please bring a folding chair with you, if possible.
Track officials are working to finalize the rulebook for the new Crate Sprint Car division, which will be released prior to the Ohsweken Speedway Awards Banquet coming up on Friday, November 29. Meeting dates for the Corr/Pak Merchandising 360 Sprint Cars, Affordable Towing & Recovery Thunder Stocks, HRW Automotive Mini Stocks, and Gale’s Auto Aftermarket Bombers will take place early in the new year. Dates will be announced when they are finalized.

About Ohsweken Speedway: Founded in 1996, Ohsweken Speedway is a motorsports complex which includes a 3/8 (0.375) mile clay oval track. The facility is owned by the Styres family, and located in the village of Ohsweken, Ontario, Canada. Ohsweken’s weekly Friday night racing program runs from May to September each year, featuring Sprint Cars, Thunder Stocks, Mini Stocks, and Bombers, while the season finishes each year with the annual Canadian Sprint Car Nationals.
