Posted on June 1, 2011 | No CommentsLast Thursday if someone would have told me the Little 500 would rain out, the leader of the Indy 500 would lose the race after hitting the wall coming off turn four on the final lap, and that I-96 Speedway’s World of Outlaws show would drag out until after midnight after a feature full of massive accidents I would have bet against that trifecta occurring. -

Butler Looks to Shake Up Schedule with Bigger Programs in 2011

Denny Donaldson is working together with Butler Motor Speedway promoter Bob Garrett to bring back some more visible programs to the speedway including the All Star Circuit of Champions and an early season midget car program. -

Great Racing, No Crowd
Posted on August 18, 2010 | No CommentsAugust 12th, 2010 was circled on my calendar the moment the USAC Silver Crown Series schedule came out revealing a Thursday night show at nearby Berlin Raceway in Marne, Michigan. Silver Crown dates are few and far between, and one near home has never occurred since the series broke off from the National Championship trail.
